Whitby Spinners

Come and join us on Tuesday nights to spin, knit, stitch, or just chat. We meet from 7pm - 9pm at the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex, 555 Rossland Road East, Whitby ON (click on the link for a map). It is on the south side between Brock St. and Garden St. When you enter the building, proceed straight ahead and down the stairs, we locate ourselves in the atrium by the benches beside the entrance to the gym.

There is also an elevator to get you downstairs. It is just across from the reception desk.

We meet all year round. There are no membership fees, rules, or obligations. Come when you can!

Want to learn to spin? Bring your drop spindle and some roving and we'll teach you how.
Want to spin on a wheel? We'll teach you how and how to get your own wheel.
Like to knit? We're all knitters, too, and love to share our enthusiasm.

Basically we welcome anyone entranced with fibre and its products.
